CONVEYORS FOR JiT DELIVERY

Providing bespoke handing solutions are a prime forte of Excel Automation and nothing comes more taylor-made than vehicle and trailer mounted conveyor transfer systems.

With many manufacturers requiring JiT delivery, whether from within their own organisation or third party, many companies have turned to Excel to devise and build vehicle transfer schemes. These allow components to move from a production line or buffer store directly into a trailer and be held securely within a conveying framework. At the clients premises the components or sub-assemblies are then automatically released onto a handling system where they are conveyed directly to the production floor or into another buffer store to await call-off.

Design and build of these systems is carried out at the Excel manufacturing plant in Worcester.
