Excel Storage has over thirty years’ experience in the design, manufacture, and installation of automated storage and retrieval systems (ASRS) for many sectors of industry. If required we can pool the resources of both the Automation and Conveyor Divisions within our group to provide our clients with a 'total in-house' solution.

Systems can be supplied with cranes to suit many applications, including double-reach forks where they are required to optimise storage space. Excel Storage can cater for products from standard pallets to items as diverse as painted car bodies and aircraft components. Our range includes systems of cranes up to 30 m high with a 3000 kg payload. We are confident that the Excel Group can provide a full turnkey solution for your automated storage and retrieval requirements. Within Excel's manufacturing facility in Worcester we have the ability to carry out pre-installation trials on many key areas of the system - checking and working on your system to ensure your total customer satisfaction.


Importantly, Excel Storage has the in-house expertise to supply standard software packages to manage the inventory of the store, and allow product to be identified on input and retrieval to meet supply schedules. Our systems can be used with PC or micro computer hardware platforms. Utilising the latest technologies, recent installations have benefited from the use of lasers for the finite positioning/picking of loads in the X, Y and Z axis.
